The new Chair for Discover Farming is Dr William Bowditch. Will has taken over as Chair from Marcus Beresford who was responsible for setting up Discover Farming in 2015 and making it such an essential part of the Melplash Agricultural Society.
Will is looking forward to his new role, he said:
“I am from a West Dorset Farming family so understand the importance of getting our young people enthused about farming, food and the environment. It is so important for the future of our industry, food, health and environment that we encourage the next generation to work in Agriculture.”
