Symondsbury School’s Gardening Club visited the Discover Farming classroom for a cooking session with Katie Vining and the Bridport Local Food Group’s Community Cooking kit. The children dug up leeks from the fields, shopped for the other ingredients in the Washingpool Farm Shop and then chopped, sliced, cooked, stirred and whizzed the pot to create a delicious Leek and Potato soup which they enjoyed for their lunch.
